Pool Play

4-team pools. Each team plays the other three teams in the pool.

• Each team plays 3 matches.
• Each match is 2 sets.
• Each team plays 6 total sets in pool play.
• Pool sets use sideout scoring to 11.

Standings

• Match record
• Head-to-head result
• Point differential
• Total points scored
• Random selection if still tied

Self-Ref Scoring

CGO uses a self-ref scoring system. Teams report their own pool play and playoff scores through the site, with admin review available for disputes or corrections.

• Pool play is 2 sets per match.
• 2-0 match = 5 points because of the sweep bonus.
• 1-1 split = 2 points for each team.
• 0-2 match = 0 points.
• Playoff win = 5 leaderboard points.

Advancement

• 1st and 2nd place teams advance to the championship bracket.
• 3rd and 4th place teams are eliminated.

Bracket Play

Single-elimination bracket after pool play.

• Playoff games use sideout scoring to 15.
• If rain delay format is announced, playoff games may be shortened to 13.
• Playoff losses do not add leaderboard points.
